Oh my gosh it’s been awhile since I have posted something. It’s been crazy in my house with school and the kids activities. I didn’t want to post just to post. That’s not me and that’s just not real for me. So,while I’ve had a lot of photo sessions with some really good pictures I chose to post this one because this is real to me. My brother and I went to this beautiful spot in our area to capture some really good pics.
We did get a lot and some not so good. I was scrolling through my camera role and came upon this picture. At first I looked and thought,”oh that turned out nice”! But, as I looked closer I have a little bulge hanging over. It could be due to the fact that I have had 5 kids or maybe my jeans were high waisted and they were sitting funny. Who know🤷🏽♀️but either way, there is a roll. I remember feeling good that day in this outfit and the scenery was perfect for my look. My whole mood changed after looking at this. But for some reason I didn’t delete this picture and now I know why.
See, you don’t have to be a fashion model, insta model, have the best clothes, shoes, purses, etc.. if you have a love for anything than being you and real and authentic is going to be your best asset! Social media can play a positive role in blogging and also negative, especially when you compare yourself to other bloggers. I have learned to put my blinders on and focus on my journey. Nobody else’s. So, please don’t delete that vulnerable picture. It’s probably one that will make someone else feel better!
