Hey friends! It’s Thursday January 31st and it’s been 3 days off from school because of cold weather. So, I thought this would be the perfect time to work on my blog. Today, I’m sharing with you my 5 essentials that you should have in your wardrobe. I’ve had some time to go through my closet and see exactly what I need and don’t need. It’s amazing the amount of clothes one can accumulate😂 but if you have some of the pieces I’m going to talk about and you didn’t know how to wear then or where to wear them, than I hope this post helps you. Let’s get started!
1. The blazer
This is a must have because it’s so versatile. You can wear this to work, out, church, funeral, casual coffee date, etc.. I like to have the classic white for spring and black to wear to anytime of year. I get a lot of mine from @maurcices they usually carry all kinds of different colors and are normally $25 to 35 dollars.
2. The GG belt
So, if you follow me on IG or see my stories then you’ve seen this belt. This is a HUGE trend with a lot of fashion and lifestyle bloggers. You can wear this belt with your jeans, cardis, and skirts. I wear my belt all the time. You can get this on @amazon and there are different color and sizes to pick from. This one was $17.99.
I don’t know where I saw it but someone said, they had wished turtlenecks were still in? Don’t know where that person has been.. but turtlenecks are very much still alive in the fashion world. I just got this black one from @vicidolls and I’m loving it. I like to wear mine tucked in with my GG belt. If I were going to dinner,I would pair it with jeans, belt, and heels or booties.
4. The high waisted jean
Okay, I’m going to be honest.. I was not a fan for many years of this look. It brought me back to my years in high school and you couldn’t tell if us girls had hips or a shape or for that matter a butt! But, no pun intended😉 I’ve fallen in love with these jeans. They accentuate every part of my behind. They make me look taller than I am and they fit really well. I would recommend trying these if you don’t have hips and want to make yourself look taller and leaner. I’m wearing a pair from @vici dolls! Use code LOVE20 for 20% off your purchase.
5. The cardi
I’ve mentioned this item before on my blog. But, it’s honestly been the best essential to have. I wear a cardi almost everyday and I pair it with almost everything from a cute cami to a vintage t-shirt. Plus, they are great to wear in the morning when you just get up and if your like me, freezing cold. You can find these anywhere but if you want your cardi to last than I suggest getting it from a higher quality store or online shop. I have a few from @express that I love.
