Hey friends! Since it’s Wellness Wednesday, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite go to healthy recipes that I make A LOT! How many of you have a smoothie for breakfast? I do every morning and sometimes that can get a little boring. So, I found a way to spice things up a little. With this easy smoothie bowl recipe you can add whatever you want! So I hope you try this and like it:)
- 1 cup Almond milk.
- 1 scoop of protein mix of your choice, I use Shakeology
- 1 handful of ice cubes as the more you use, the thicker your smoothie bowl will be.
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter.
- Two cups of fruit of your choice chopped up.
- Half cup of granola.
Blend all your ingredients together in a blender or bullet, except for your fruit and granola. Set that aside. I like to blend mine for a good two minutes to make sure it’s thick enough. Once your smoothie is blended pour into your favorite bowl. Now top your smoothie bowl with your fruit and granola. To make mine a little sweet I add a little honey on top. This is so delicious and it takes the boring out of having just a shake everyday.
